Ibrahim Jillo Guyo, OGW, HSC, CMI (UK) an Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police is the Director Training and Reforms. He is a registered member of IHRM and a qualified Certified Human Resource Management Professional currently finalizing his CHRP program. The Director is a Phd student in Human Resource Management at Jomo Kenyatta University and Technology. He has a Master of Science (MSc) in Human Resource Management (JKUAT) and Master of Arts in Leadership and Security Management from Kenyatta University. He is also trained in Senior Leadership Development Program and Senior Management from Kenya School of Government. He pursued his BA in Human Resource Management at the Kenyatta University and he is a member of the Kenya Institute of Management (MKIM).
He is recognized nationally and internationally as an innovative and effective policy maker. He has been instrumental in many the development of various National Police Service Legislations, Policies and Guidelines.
He has attended several overseas forums in New York, Italy, Japan, Bostwana, New Mexico – Rosewell, US and Tanzania representing the National Police Service.
Ibrahim realigned the Directorate in the Service delivery models and efficiency of Service Training System. His passion is geared towards enabling the officers to ascribe to the legislative provisions guiding their service delivery to the public by developing a culture of focused, impeccable and vast dedicated training.
His visionary and inspirational leadership skills has promoted the Directorate and Service at large to acquire highest level of professionalism.
He has led the Service to partner with different Agencies, Organizations and MDA especially on Police Professionalism, human dignity and Service with Dignity.
The Director is supported in his functions by a pool of competent professional members of staff in the Directorate.
